Folk/Alternative-pop duo, The Graes, are CJ and Cassie Grae. Based out of Wilmington, NC, the married duo crafts melodic stories that bring to life and articulate the human condition in a way that says celebration and grief, and dreams and daunting realities, can in fact beautifully co-exist. Quickly building their social presence and fanbase, The Graes are commonly noted for their complimenting voices, euphonious harmonies, and effortless ability to engage a crowd, making each performance unforgettable. 

 

Having experienced the true authenticity and vulnerability found simply in a song, The Graes aim to create music that connects with their listeners in ways that conversation can't. "We write about life - the good, the bad, the ugly - it's how we process, heal, and reset." 

 

Pulling inspiration from artists like The Civil Wars, Johnnyswim, Jon Bellion, and Ed Sheeran, the duo has set their sights high. Collaborating with well-known producers and songwriters like Forever the Sickest Kids' Austin Bello and LA producer Ron Geffen, The Graes plan on releasing new music this fall and are eager to perform in a city near you!
